Plexus. Have you heard of it? Maybe yes. Maybe no. For both Jess and I, we learned of it during our most recent pregnancy. We both complained so often of feeling tired, not being able to keep up with our other children, and even more so, just feeling down right awful — 99.9% of the time. Ok, I might be exaggerating a bit, but it felt like a lot! Luckily, we were introduced to plexus through a friend and after watching about a month’s worth of pictures on her IG account we couldn’t say no. We decided to try it and see what all the hype was about. Fast forward 7 months later and we are still taking Plexus! We are walking testimonies of Plexus and how much better it made us feel through our pregnancy and postpartum. All of the sudden we had more energy and I even experienced less of an appetite. I never thought the day would come when I stopped dreaming of chili cheese fries but it did. That right there is an answered prayer for most pregnant mamas. 😉 Today, we are letting Bridget Ryan take over our blog to share her testimony with you all.
So without further ado, here is her story.
Hi there! My name is Bridget Ryan and I am honored to have the privilege of using this blog as a platform to share my life and passion with you all.
I am first and foremost an ambassador for Christ! I am also a wife to my highschool sweetheart of 16 years and a mother to 7 kiddos — yes, you read that right. Seven. — ranging from newborn to teens, and all ages in between. And on top of that, I also homeschool all of my children. This is my 9th year homeschooling, I can’t believe it! Time flies when you’re having fun. I’m an entrepreneur at heart. I love to study health and have a passion for encouraging other mothers in this journey of motherhood. On a daily basis I get asked, ” how do you do it?” I want to share a little secret with you! “A little bit of Plexus and a whole lotta Jesus!” I try to take life one day at a time and I’ve learned that I only need to be one day smarter than my kids (wink).
You see, about 2 years ago I was introduced to this little pink drink — Plexus. I was told that it was not meant to replace a healthy diet or exercise. That it’s an all natural health supplement that is gluten free, with no artificial flavors or colors. It was originally created for diabetics and is known for its amazing ability to help regulate blood sugars. It is one of the only things that’s helped people with cravings, appetite, and food addiction. I researched it and saw that it has mind blowing testimonies from people who have had amazing results from weight loss, to decreased anxiety medications, to coming off of medications, to decreased pain, increased energy, and the list goes on and on. I also liked that it was backed by hundreds of nurses, doctors, apn’s, pharmacist, dietitians, fitness gurus, chiropractors, personal trainers and crunchy moms! It sounded too good to be true but I trusted my long time friend, and after seeing her amazing results, I went ahead and ordered the little Pink drink!
I wanted to lose some weight, but even more so I needed energy to keep up with my half a dozen children at the time. Homeschooling 6 children and running them to different sports activities and just trying to keep up with the everyday Ryan Ranch chores was taking it’s toll. (We have a zoo … literally. Horses, pigs, chickens, goats, dogs etc. We are a busy family and my family needed their Mom to keep up! (What do you know, homeschoolers are social. In fact, sometimes I think we are over socialized!) Most days I was just in survival mode. I wasn’t making the most of this precious season of raising my children. I so badly wanted to be giving my all but I didn’t have the energy to. I know how short this time is with them and I wanted to make sure I was doing my best with the time God has given me to raise them up! I needed energy!!! After trying the Pink drink aka (Plexus Slim) the Probiotic (probio5) and the bio cleanse, my body began to regulate. My hormones were getting leveled, my blood sugar was getting stabilized, my cravings for sweets were being curbed and I soon lost 10lbs and had amazing energy! A couple months later I found out I was pregnant with baby #7! I was so nervous because I had horrible sciatic pain and I wasn’t sure my body could carry another baby. My last 3 deliveries were by C-section and I was scared my body couldn’t take on another surgery like that. I continued on TriPlex and XFactor (a multivitamin I used as my prenatal) and I’m here to tell you that it was the best pregnancy ever! Plexus has been an answer to prayer! My Dr. and Midwife approved Plexus and it made all the difference in my pregnancy! My file at the doctors was stamped with “advanced maternal age” because I’m now 35, but I felt better than my pregnancies in my early twenties!!!! I was feeling so good I decided to take up swimming! Plexus gave me the energy to swim 5 days a week with a goal of 100 miles before I delivered! #100milesbeforedelivery I finished 100 miles just 2 weeks before I delivered a healthy 9 pound baby boy! Needless to say, I enjoyed my pregnancy and my kids had their energetic Mom back!
After having my 7th baby I was able to drop the baby weight by 8 weeks postpartum. I’m breastfeeding on demand and my supply is enough to feed my growing boy with plenty to stock the freezer! I believe Plexus has helped with my milk supply. I still have a long ways to go on strengthening and toning my body but I’m happy with how Plexus is helping my energy, nursing and losing the baby weight!. I love being back in the pool!
This is my experience with Plexus and I can’t help but want to share it with other Mothers out there that ask “how do you do it?”
After being on the product for 10 months I decided to be a distributor for the company. Although I’m not a salesperson, my passion is to share and encourage other mothers! I believe Plexus is a tool we can use to help us do the best job we have been called to do. The most important job there is — raising our babies up and discipling them in the ways of the Lord. Plexus has blessed our family financially more than I’ve ever dreamed and I’m on a mission to help other Moms be able to stay home and still contribute to their family financially.
If you feel intrigued in any way by what I have said, I encourage you to try Plexus. It just might be what you need and have been looking for. It just might be an answer to prayer. It never hurts to try something new. 🙂
